A photo might help, but, is the cage bent or twisted ? is the chain twisted into a mobius strip ?

I tried to recreate chain jumping off the jockey but guess it needs to be under load to happen. I manually placed the chain off the pulley on the bottom photo, not easy to see

Now that you mention it, the derailleur cage looks somewhat skewed. Is there a way to fix that (if the problem) or do I need a new derailleur or can the cage be replaced?Thankyou

The first thing to do is go to your LBS and have them check the alignment of the drop out. There is this device that gets bolted onto the drop out (with the derailluer removed) which will tell you if...
